Important Dates for PhD Forum Paper Submission (AoE):

ICISS PhD Forum is an excellent opportunity for PhD students to present their preliminary work and get it validated by experts available during the conference. This opportunity to network with established international researchers also helps build a rapport with them and opens up possibilities for collaboration in terms of internships, and post-doctoral fellowships. This PhD Forum will be an excellent venue to articulate and present your work-in-progress in a public, encouraging environment to receive constructive feedback. Furthermore, there will be several pre-conference tutorials lined up, exposing students to topics beyond their current interests.
There will be two different formats for submissions:
- for Early-Stage PhD/Masters (by research) Students, and
- for Later-Stage PhD/Masters (by research) Students

Step 1: Submit your paper (Extended Abstract alone, no poster) under PhD Forum track in LNCS format as a single PDF file. There is no need of blinding the paper.
Step 2: Upon acceptance:
prepare camera-ready version of your extended abstract accommodating suggestions provided by the reviewers

prepare a poster (draft version, which authors can improve until the conference starts)
+
upload 2 PDFs (Extended abstract & draft Poster) as camera-ready version
Step 3: Request the chair for registration fees exemption & travel grant upon uploading the camera-ready.
ICISS encourages currently enrolled PhD students to participate in the conference at zero-cost by submitting their on-going works as PhD Forum paper. Accepted papers will be published as a Technical Report by CMI. Student authors of accepted paper under PhD Forum track will be provided with:
- Travel: 3AC train fare or domestic economy flight (whichever is lower)
- Accommodation: Hostel / Guest-house (FCFS)
- Registration: Complimentary
The authors of the accepted PhD Forum papers will be allowed to display their posters throughout the conference in order to maximize their interactions with the attendees.
